Brit To Say Goodbye To “A Show Of Their Own”

The creator and host of “A Show Of Their Own” has decided to call it a day. The team of Brit & Bern will end on April 5th when Brit will do her final show. Bern will continue on as the show’s sole host.

Over at her blog Brit posted this tonight:

“I cannot believe this show has taken off the way it has. We have some of the best listeners two girls could ask for. Our guests are always awesome…This show has meant the world to me this last year, and I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.”

All the best to Brit as she takes some much-earned time off and gets ready for whatever and wherever her wonderful talents will take her.

Baseball Honeymoon.jpg

Our friend Lisa Winston of just started a podcast! She and her husband, musician Wayne Wilentz, have started Baseball Honeymoon, where they talk baseball and play indie music (specifically, the music of Wayne and of their very talented daughter, Dana Jasmine). They’ll be doing the podcast every two weeks, so be sure to mark your calendars so you don’t miss an episode.

Congratulations Lisa and Wayne.

Bernie Williams Is Moving Forward

Former Yankee Bernie Williams hasn’t exactly retired from baseball, but he’s acting like he has. Bernie has a couple of non-baseball-related events coming up that all Yankee fans should know about:

January 24th: The Hillside Food Outreach Charity Dinner at the Greantree Country Club in New Rochelle, NY. Bernie’s special guest that night will be Yankees Second Baseman Robinson Cano.

April 14th: Bernie’s new CD drops. The title is Moving Forward.

April 18th: Bernie will be performing live at the Noka Theatre in Times Squre, New York City.

Head over to our good friend Paul Mulvaney’s site, for more details on all three events!

The List Is Growing

Hi, guys. We’re proud to have had some really important guests on the show lately. If you haven’t had a chance to listen to the interviews we’ve done with these guests, check out the new Show Interviews link list on the sidebar at the right. Give a listen and let us know what you think. Your feedback is always appreciated!

The list will definitely be growing in the near future. We’ll be having many more great guests, including one coming up soon that you’ll really enjoy. We’ll reveal who it is soon, but for now, just know that he made his ML debut for the Yankees late in 2008.

Happy Holidays!
